Powerful VPS panel for beginners, fantastic potential for web developers.
I've used quite a few VPS panels, and this is a review of the platform. I cannot comment on the support as I have not required it; I'll leave my comments on pricing towards the end.
Firstly, wow—I was so impressed to see this platform that I had previously investigated on AppSumo. There hasn't been anything like this for at least a couple of years catering to VPS users.
Those users who have used Runcloud will be at home with the FlyWP console. The UI is similar but a little more expansive on FlyWP.
At the moment, OpenLiteSpeed is not offered but is a work in progress. That being said, NGINX with Caching will make your sites fly!
Setting up a WordPress multisite with the platform was easy, applying the necessary NGINX rewrite rules for the subdirectory configuration (a pain on some platforms). The security options are impressive also. You are able to back up to AWS S3 and most of the popular S3-compatible providers. It is difficult to fault FlyWP's functionality or UI. I look forward to trying out the bedrock functionality and integrating with GIT. I've opted for a tier 2 as much as I would like the teams' functionality. I had hoped they would offer this at tier 3.
If I wasn't so invested in Enhance/Runcloud—both paid plans—I would have definitely gone full stack. I would still consider it if tier 5 had been at a different price than previously offered on their website.
All in all, it is a solid offering from the makers of Dokan. If you are not heavily invested in other panels, consider FlyWP before they leave AppSumo. I suspect they won't be returning.
