The basic concept is good Pomodoro+Trello, but the execution leaves a LOT to be desired.
These are just a few of the things that are making me look elsewhere. (I have a Mac) 1. There is no where to redeem your code. You have to download the mobile app and enter your code there and even then it does not remember it, nor does it look like any extra features appear. 2. Once you add your items on the Kanban board, you can't even REORDER them. This is VERY basic functionality, why is it not there. 3.Most buttons are SUPER laggy on the mobile app. 4. You can't chose your own alarm sounds. 5. The form inside the app makes you fill out all this stuff, but then when you go to send it, it makes you open your default mailing app to send.
I don't use a mailing app, just give me your address, it's double handling.
Basically, most things need a lot of improvement. It looks like the app hasn't been updated in the app store for about 2 years, so that should tell you everything you need to know.
I tried free versions of a few pomodoro apps and they were better in many contexts than FocusCommit.
Focuscommit mobile app just kept on crashing, I was not even able to login. desktop app is not great either. Microsoft todo integration is a hype. it lacks functionality.
Slow performance, Google Tasks & Microsoft To-Do keep disappearing, and lots of other issues. The interface needs improvement. The background sound feature stops if you change tabs. Also, there is this annoying sound it makes if you don't use it for a while.
This is a good productivity app. The Kanban is great and offers a structure to organise the task. In addition the project structure further emphasises structure as opposed to a soup of task, and it integrates well with Nifty.
The perfect combination with the integration for productivity booster
Focus-commit is aptly named. It combines the best of Kanban and Pomodoro techniques and I am sure it will help me be more productive. I am surprised how no one thought about bringing them together and then the cherry on top is their zapier integration. What more can one ask. A new product, so of course there is plenty of room to grow. But for my needs i like its simplicity and flexibility. Not too much, nor too little, just in the process of hitting it right. Betting on it for sure and for the price, give it a try.

It isn't just a Pomodoro Timer, it's a full workflow organizer. A complete game changer.
