I reached out and was told that these models are pricier and for that reason, you would need to pay extra or bring in your own api. Does not really make sense since you are allocated 1000 credits per month and the newer models will cost 15 credits while Dall-E only 1. So, this takes care of the extra cost, does it not? If I purchased 1000 credits per month, I should be able to use those on any model. Charging extra for the newer models makes sense, but you are already doing that by charging 15 credits instead of the 1 for Dall-E. I really like the concept and the UI, but I will be requesting a refund.

Aug 13, 2025You don’t need to pay extra if you don’t want to—we currently offer DALL·E in the LTD plan because, due to costs, we can’t include the more expensive models for unlimited use.
If you prefer, you can also use the BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) option to connect your own API key for the newer models, which means you wouldn’t be paying us anything.
That said, your feedback is great and we’ll review it internally to see if we can improve this. I hope you might reconsider the refund request, because we have a lot of exciting new features coming. Unlike many LTDs, we’re constantly developing and adding value to Followr.
