RobinTQ: DSGVO and indexing?
I am considering switching from Teachery to Forento and would appreciate clarification on a few points:
1. Is Forento fully GDPR/DSGVO compliant, and is any customer data stored outside the EU?
2. Does Plan 2 allow multiple or unlimited communities, or only one?
3. Is the standalone website indexed by Google, or only accessible via direct link? How many websites can be built/hosted per account?
4. Monthly plans above the free tier show no sales commissions—is the lifetime deal with a 10% commission still valid?
I am a bit confused about the differences between the lifetime deal and the monthly plans. Are features such as website, SSL, community, blog, and funnels truly unlimited, or are there limitations?

Jan 13, 2026A: Hey RobinT, thank you for the questions, and I'm glad to hear you're considering switching to Forento for your training initiative.
1. Yes, Forento is fully compliant. Our servers are based in Europe (Primarily Sweden, Finland, and the Netherlands)
2. Plan 2 (Start 1) only allows for a single academy/community/website to be created. We don't have any agency plans as of now. You'll have to get multiple accounts for Forento if you want to run multiple academies with seperate branding and domains.
3. The website created with Forento is indexed by Google and findable through search. You can set your own site settings (titles, descriptions, etc.) for SEO in the site settings view. You can only build one website per Forento account, since we don't have any agency plan.
4. The only difference between Basic and Start as la ifetime deal vs a subscription (other than the price being highly discounted here on AppSumo as a lifetime deal) is the sales commission fee. There's a sales commission fee of 2-10% for all lifetime deal plans that is not applied to our subscription plans. All of the features listed on our website under Basic and Start are included in the lifetime deals sold here on AppSumo.

Just to confirm: all lifetime deals include everything listed under the "Start" tier on your website? Cause AppSumo, however, shows a clear distinction between Basic 1 (Plan 1) and Startup 1 (Plan 2). Please clarify so I can decide, whether or not your tool ist right for me.
