AlienexedQ: How to manage 500+ digital products?
I have tested the platform but do not see how I can manage over 500 products. I am considering transferring a store with over 300 online courses, 300 ebooks and over 100 audiobooks to Forento but it fails in providing essential tools for organization. If you can add these features, please inform me as soon as possible:
1. Audiobooks: The process to upload audio courses and audiobooks is quite similar. The problem is your platform forces me to upload the audio files one by one. It would be better if I could simply upload all at once, so that the users can easily go through them, one by one, on their phone.
2. If I upload more than 300 ebooks, it becomes extremely difficult to find one of them. There should be a tool/ option that allows categorizing them (by genre) and find them by name (search box).
3. Needs new category: audiobooks.

1. I realize that adding more than 500 products to your Forento academy can be a very time-consuming task. We've not built much functionality to allow for such large volumes of content, in terms of automations or optimizing operations.
Not being able to upload course content in bulk is a great example of that. You're correct in your analysis that you have to upload one audio file at a time for each course page you're setting up. The same goes for other types of products.
2. The Downloadables feature does have a search box for users, as well as a tag feature, which you can use to create categories for each genre. I think you might have missed this as you explored the settings for Downloadables.
3. We don't have categories for specific products, such as audiobooks, in the same way we don't have product formats for e-books. Instead, you can use any of the existing product formats (downloadables, courses, sessions ,or events) to configure your audiobooks. For example, there's an audio player within the course option.
