I understand how the tier system can feel a bit tricky at first, so let me clarify.

Forento offers two types of plans on AppSumo:

- Basic Plans (Tiers 1, 3, and 5)
- Start Plans (Tiers 2, 4, and 6)

Here’s the key difference:

Start plans include the drag-and-drop website builder and the community forum feature. Basic plans do not include these two features but still offer all other core features, like selling courses and memberships, analytics, and custom domain. The only reason someone would get Tier 5 instead of Tier 1 or Tier 3 would be to get a lower sales commission. The sales commission is a fee we charge on all sales.

So, while Tier 5 is a higher tier within the Basic plan (offering a lower commission rate), it’s different from Tier 4, which is part of the Start plan and includes additional features like the website builder and community forum.
