SonickQ: What are the differences between your plans?
Hi Adrian,
I would like to buy a deal, but I don't quite understand the differences between your various packages. For example: Plan 2 - Startup 1, Plan 4 - Startup 2 and Plan 6 - Startup 3 have exactly the same features. Is this a bug on AppSumo or have you forgotten something?
Another thing: in the section "Features included in all plans", it says "% sales commission rates"... I think there's a number missing there.
So:
- What is the percentage of your commission fees?
- What are the differences between your Startup 1, 2 and 3 plans (I think it's the commission fee, but I prefer to ask...)?

The difference between the three plans you're referring to (Tier 2, Tier 4, and Tier 6) are all Start plans; they all include the same level of feature access. The only difference between these plans is the sales commission fee. For Tier 1/2 the fee is 10%, for Tier 3/4 it's 5%, and for Tier 5/6 the fee is only 2%.
The other plans (Tier 1, Tier 3, and Tier 5) are all Basic plans, and they don't include all the premium features that the Start plans do. The sales commission fee levels work the same for these tiers.
Initially, we only had Tier 1 and Tier 2 (Basic and Start), both with a sales commission fee of 10%. When people started asking about upgrading to reduce the fee, we introduced additional plans.
I realize it can be a bit confusing, so we added a full explanation of the different plans in the From the Founders post. We've added more features since this post, though, so you'll get a happy surprise when logging in and realizing you get some "extra" features on either plan :)

I was going to say the same.
Thinking to buy, but need more clarity.
It's the commission fee and the number of codes. Everything else is the same, as I'm aware of. Every code gives you the features in the description for the "Startup" plan - so 6 communities/websites in total, if you decide to buy the Plan 6 - Startup 3. And you pay less fee (Plan 2: 10% / Plan 4: 5% / Plan 6: 2%).
Only question I still have, is if I'm able to upgrade to a Plan 6 from a Plan 2...
