Formly - Forms & Surveys - Plus exclusive Reviews

I rarely write reviews and but wanted to say how impressed I was with Formly. I am using a platform for a training course and they offer their own quiz options. But it was not user-friendly. So I thought I would use Class Marker as I have in the past. But they only allowed a small size limit for photo uploads, and my quiz is very dependent on good-sized sized clear photos. Formly allowed a much bigger size, and the interface was so much easier and intuitive to use. I'm quite pleased with the quizzes I've created. I will be using it for all my form, questionnaire, and quiz needs from now on.

I’ve been using Formly for a bit now, and overall the product itself is great — solid functionality and lots of potential. I’m genuinely excited to see where it goes with future updates.

That said, the documentation leaves a lot to be desired. The instructions are complicated, screenshots are unclear, and the guides feel incomplete. I also haven’t found a single place that pulls all the “how-to” resources together. When I first asked for help figuring out how to use the forms, I was told I’d need to pay for that service. When I pushed back and explained I didn’t want someone to do it for me — I wanted clear instructions so I could do it myself — they just did it for me anyway - telling me to just 'make a copy' of the form they created for me and figure it out from there. That’s not what I was looking for. When I buy a product, I want to understand how to use it, not rely on someone else to set it up.

If Formly can focus on building a proper knowledge base with step-by-step guides, updated screenshots, and a central hub for all tutorials, it would close what is currently the only real gap in an otherwise strong product.

I was looking for a product that would allow me to build assessments, waitlists and sign up forms to help me launch and market my business. After trying a couple of different products, I tried Formly once and knew that it ticked all the boxes. The user interface is clean and intuitive and the it’s really simple to create professional landing pages and quizzes quickly. As far as the customer support, this has been great and it was really helpful to have an initial demo session. I’ve been really impressed with whole customer experience. I look forward to the additional features that they have in the pipelines. I can see this really taking off. If you’re on the fence about this, I’d highly recommend it.

Hi team, I like the app, it got potential.
What will keep me and possibly AI-age-users stay longer with the app is Automatically create forms using AI prompt & uploaded files or linked docs (e.g google docs, notion...etc)
Personally I can see this kind of feature will be a must have in any form building tools in the next years
Other thing is the app a bit buggy and not very convinient to use especially when re-agrrange answers/options within a questions. Also there need to be a re-arrange feature for Logic feature as well, editing the survey usually need this

I manage multiple acupuncture clinics in Vancouver and use Formly App to collect client intake information, treatment consent, and recovery assessments for ICBC and private insurance.

I tried using the free Google Sheets forms, but they were glitchy on iPads. Jotform costs 34 USD and Typeform costs 25 USD a month. I tried MangoForm, but without font management, all the words on the consent page clumped together like a giant tofu block.

Formly is a one-time 100 USD with unlimited responses and client/self notifications. Building forms is simple, and modifying them is straightforward. Being able to edit the post-submission messages and use them as a gentle marketing tool like offering a referral discount is a HUGE driver for me to use them. Most importantly, Formly App has a draw-to-sign feature similar to Adobe, which MangoForm does not. Highly recommend Formly App.

My only small complaint is that the background options are very limited for professional / B2C services. I look forward to seeing more designs in the future.
