Formly - Forms & Surveys - Plus exclusive Reviews

The interface feels simple, clean, and easy to understand, even if you are not very technical. I really like that it gives enough flexibility to build different types of forms for clients, lead generation, feedback, and general business use.

I've owned this product through the deal for a while now, and it works as advertised, which the other reviews already confirm.
My caution is about the AI generated forms offered in this deal. This is the "real gem" of the product, but the creators have put a hard limit on how many AI generated forms you get. You can't go above that limit, and deleting forms you've already generated doesn't renew your allocation. Once you hit the cap, you're stuck building forms from scratch manually, upgrading to a monthly tier, or buying the deal again.
If you rely heavily on form creation and want AI to spin up forms quickly from prompts, this isn't the product for you right now. I hope the developer addresses this soon, because the AI form building space is moving fast.
Anyone can build this kind of capability themselves now using tools like Claude or Codex. That's tough for independent developers building great products in general, but it's especially risky for a product like Formly if it doesn't keep pace. So if I were you, I'd wait and see if this gets fixed before buying. I can't give this 5 tacos in good faith until it does.

I ran into an issue where Formly's AI builder wasn't setting up the logic as requested and the support team stepped in, looked at it, fixed the underlying AI functions, and had everything working on the first try. All with a smile.

My personal wish would be more control over colors, shapes, fonts, spacing and how forms render on mobile. But given the feature set already delivered, there's no honest way to rate this anything less than 5 tacos. Keep up the good work, Formly!

I purchased this app specifically for the Zapier integration that was mentioned, only to learn (as I'm in the middle of setting up a Zap), that Formly is not listed as one of the app connections available on Zapier. Then, when reaching out to their "non-tech" AI automated responses Tech Support, I learn that in order to integrate with Zapier, I must send my responses to a Google Sheet. News flash! Not everyone uses Google Sheets, and this was not part of my plan. You really shouldn't be advertising that this integrates with Zapier, when it actually doesn't integrate directly. The ONLY reason that I'm not going to request a refund is because I like the fact that I can use custom domains; otherwise, I'd just stick with FormNX. Highly disappointed with this purchase.

I'd been looking for an alternative to QuestionScout, Typeform, and many others that have recurring monthly costs and I've been really happy with Formly so far.

I was able to have a 1:1 onboarding call with one of the team members to get a full walkthrough of the current features and hear what's in store on the roadmap as well. It was extremely helpful as I began implementing surveys myself as I'd been able to see what's possible in the onboarding. I wasn't just able to migrate versions of my current surveys and quizzes but take them to the next level.

I've now been using it for a month and a half - the tool has been working reliably and the layout is very easy to use, even with the logic. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great tool for forms, surveys, and quizzes.
