Product is Great - Instruction DOcumentation Needs A LOT of Work.
I’ve been using Formly for a bit now, and overall the product itself is great — solid functionality and lots of potential. I’m genuinely excited to see where it goes with future updates.
That said, the documentation leaves a lot to be desired. The instructions are complicated, screenshots are unclear, and the guides feel incomplete. I also haven’t found a single place that pulls all the “how-to” resources together. When I first asked for help figuring out how to use the forms, I was told I’d need to pay for that service. When I pushed back and explained I didn’t want someone to do it for me — I wanted clear instructions so I could do it myself — they just did it for me anyway - telling me to just 'make a copy' of the form they created for me and figure it out from there. That’s not what I was looking for. When I buy a product, I want to understand how to use it, not rely on someone else to set it up.
If Formly can focus on building a proper knowledge base with step-by-step guides, updated screenshots, and a central hub for all tutorials, it would close what is currently the only real gap in an otherwise strong product.
