If I deposit 1000 euros of play money into my account, with Leverage 10, it becomes 10,000 play money. Do I understand that correctly?

If I place 5 shorts, can I then enter the maximum amount for each short, or do I have to divide that play money by 5? I don't know if otherwise all the shorts will be activated.
