The Fox Signals app is ok, but the total net profit from its signals is negative
EDIT after 12 months: I’ve used Fox Signals for about 12 months now and reviewed 2,500+ signals. My conclusion is that the total net profit is always negative.
Be careful: the in-app stats can mislead. If only Take Profit 1 (TP1) is hit and Follow Take Profit Protection is on, the stop-loss moves to entry and then gets hit, so PnL = 0%. The app counts these as wins, but they are neither wins nor losses.
Signals that show higher take-profit levels (TP4, TP5) are often not achievable with Follow Take Profit Protection. Because the stop-loss trails (entry → TP1 → TP2 → TP3), normal price moves often hit the trailed stop before price reaches TP4/TP5. If Follow Take Profit Protection is off, those targets are hit more often, but losses are larger than gains because the wider stops wipe out the wins.
Trades that reach only TP1–TP3 are the ones most likely to close with Follow Take Profit Protection, but don’t earn enough per trade to cover the set stop-loss when it’s hit.
Bottom line: whatever the approach, total net profit ends up negative.
I gave the 12 month update 3 tacos because I still like the idea and I'm hoping the net profit of the signals will improve over time.
PS: Just an honest review, not looking for a refund.
