Q: Facebook ad blocking
Hi Team,
How does the prevention of accidental clicks in Facebook work? Does it exculde visitors by IP or there is some other way that such a visit is not charged?
Does it work every time for such type of click?

Edited Oct 18, 2024A: Meta Ads does not have "IP Exclusions." So instead, we create a "Custom Audience" and exclude those from your Facebook campaigns.
When a user clicks on your Facebook or Instagram ad, we collect an Audience ID and monitor the behavior of those users similar to how to track IP addresses and device fingerprints. We then add any bad users based on their audience ID to your audience exclusion list in real-time.
You can view the Custom Audience we create inside your "Audiences" tag in your Facebook Ads Manager. That audience of bad users is then excluded from the Ad Sets you choose in our platform.
If a Facebook user doesn't click your ad, but instead just shares a post or comments on it, then our system wont work. The user needs to go to your landing page after clicking your ad.
