The free plan is a very basic version of Freedcamp with significantly fewer features than the Business plan, so we don't charge for it.
You are free to use the free pan if this deal exceeds your price range for a PM tool.
Yes, it does make sense. We have an active user pricing model, and we also happen to offer a plan. It's the same model you'll find in Trello, Wrike, Asana, and many other companies.
