Q: Questions: 1.

Can we create COMPANY A, with Project A1 (assign a bunch of users to this project) - then create Subtask SA1 (assign different users that can only see subtask SA1), create Sub-Subtask SSA1 under Subtask SA1 (assign different users that can only see sub-subtask SA1) and so on? Can the subtaks / sub-sub task have their own project management timeline, issue tracking, charts etc?

2. How is your CRM integrated with the project management? If we create a COMPANY B, with Project B1, Project B2 and Project B3. Is the CRM portion integrated for allow us to assign different account manager for them to create the quotes and invoicing? Can it be set such that only certain users can see the pricing from quotes and invoice? For example only the sales team can view and edit quotes and invoice, the delivery team is not able to view.

This is important for us as our basic workflow is as follow:
1. Engage with Customer ABC
2. Ongoing have 3-4 projects
3. Create a Project A
4. Assign the sales person access to the CRM
5. Sales person will create quotation and pricing
6. Once deal is confirm
7. Create differnt subtask: example: 1. Hardware integration 2. Front end UI 3. Backend and Database etc. Assign different users to different subtask to manage their own project. Invite different guest / customer for different subtask. Manage their own timeline, issue tracking for each subtask
8. Once a subtask is completed, Sales person can create partial invoicing for each milestone

A: 2. How is your CRM integrated with the project management?

CRM is added to a project group, same for Invoicing

If you project group is a customer name - you can store all projects for that customer in that project group and have all invoices and CRM records attached to that project group. From users invited to a project group projects you can select those who can see Invoices or CRM.

You can invite you sales team as Guests to projects in that project group and add them to CRM.

In project group applications all users have the same permissions. https://freedcamp.com/profiles/help do not apply to project group apps like Passwords CRM or Invoices. You can link CRM to Invoices so you can pull CRM records to invoice.

Tested on the free version. Let me rephrase my questions.

You can create project group with multiple projects under each project group.

Can confirm if the following is correct: Example create project group A. You can invite user 1 for for the project group A. Then after that create Project A1 and invite user 2. And lastly create Project A2 and invite user 3. Does it mean that user 1 can view both project A1 & A2, user 2 can only view Project A1 and user 3 can only view project A2?

This will also apply for the tasks, subtasks, issue trackers, files, etc that falls under a project. It means user 2 can only view all the tasks, sub tasks, issue trackers under project A1. If we assign another user 5 to project A2, he can also view everything under project A2.

Does it mean that user 1 (assigned to project group A) can be assigned to the CRM function, and user 2 (assigned to project A1) will not have access to the CRM?

This becomes really messy as I have to reply to my own post hoping that you will get notified on my response :) Now sure if this is always the case with AppSumo campaigns but I do not mind to move conversation to help@freedcamp.com

You can create project group with multiple projects under each project group.

Correct

Can confirm if the following is correct: Example create project group A. You can invite user 1 for for the project group A.

You can not invite a user to a project group. You can set a user to be a project group administrator - will implicitly have access and can manage all projects in A. We WILL allow to add users to project groups (sort of a default) - so they will be added to each project created in it but still can be removed during project creation.

Taking this in account please rephrase your use case and post here or as recommended above.

7. Create differnt subtask: example: 1. Hardware integration 2. Front end UI 3. Backend and Database etc. Assign different users to different subtask to manage their own project. Invite different guest / customer for different subtask. Manage their own timeline, issue tracking for each subtask

Why when "Once deal is confirm" don't you want to start a new project but want to add subtasks to existing projects? Do you want to have one big ongoing project with a client where new deals with that client are always added to it?
