Fresh Proposals Reviews

After years of using Better Proposals we picked up a 2 code deal to get features like the PDF download and double signatures. It took us a while to get the conversion done. Good news is we were doing a lot of proposals which created the delay. All new proposals will be coming out of Fresh Proposals now. We are very happy with it.

Pros
Dashboard is very nice.
Details included in notification emails are really helpful - never knew I needed them until I saw them here.
Digital signature lines for both us and our client. This has been a problem for years since BP only included the client. We've spent hours having that discussion alone.
Downloaded PDF is very clean and nice looking. We constantly had formatting problems with BP that caused client complaints about having to use these as their copy.
Control of email templates is very granular.
Stats are very detailed
Support has been very helpful and responsive.
Automatic reminders!!!!!X

Needs to be better
The Editor.
It is very cumbersome. I am a savvy user with dev and IT background. I struggled figuring it out even after I broke down and watched the training videos. I can not let my non-tech staff even use it right now. When they tried it they made a huge mess. I have I a long list of problems with it but have faith it will be cleaned up.

Needs integration with Trello done. I hate having to use a Zap just to update my Crmble CRM in Trello.

FreshProposals is fantastic software. My proposals look really professional.

The analytics features are just getting better and better, and the team are constantly adding new features and updates to really make this a huge competitor in the online proposals space.

I would love a couple more features to make this 10/10 for me:

- Integrations: GoCardless, SendSpark and Flowlu. These would make my life haha!
- Drag and drop builder functionality with alignment (though I know this is on the roadmap).

All in all, a great software and a 5 taco purchase for me.

I have just sent off my first proposal and I’m very happy with it. The editor is easy to use and the tracking features are comprehensive.

Further to that, I have contacted them twice for help and both times it was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

I wish I had purchased more licences.

I have less questions :

1. Is there any chance of providing a platform for clients after purchasing package for 10 downloads / 10 docs at $20, the client itself after signup, choosing the niche template, selecting the proposal, editing the proposal, and download by the client itself without any support by our team members. ( Hope you go the point)...

2. we are looking forward to setting up with more proposals in our dashboard. is it possible with the fresh proposal, please help us with this.

This is my first AppSumo review because I'm as lazy as it gets when it comes to these things, but I am genuinely very impressed by both the app itself as I am for the customer support on the site.

Fresh Proposals got me actually excited to send a proposal to my client. I usually hate all the paperwork and contracts, but with this tool I was able to craft a pretty and effective proposal in great detail and easy readability. Client agreed.

I specially loved the ability to create budget calculators so the client can tailor the proposal before signing it (such as add extra services or options by clicking and selecting quantities or work hours) which is definitely useful because the only other way really to do this in our business is face to face or phone call conversations which is both exhausting for mostly introverted clients and time consuming for both parties. Now they can just open the proposal, enjoy the graphics with a glass of wine and tailor it to their needs on their own.

Some small flaws I found (mostly to do with tricky finnish translations) were immediately taken in through support chat and have been confirmed to taken into account in future updates. This is effectively what got me to write this review.

I believe this tool is great in it's current state and I have great expectations for it's future. Glad to be on board. Definitely five tacos, would give more if I could.
