First Impressions - Over Promises, Under Delivers

Let me preface this by saying that I previously purchased (and still own) Heights and Coassemble, and don't have much experience with other LMS platforms, so this will be directly in comparison to those platforms.

I quite like the UI of the system. It's clean and minimal, without too much flair or fanfare which lends itself to the UX. One thing I really hated about Heights was that there was just too much clutter, the UX was a headache while Coassemble does this really well.
As far as FreshLMS goes, the UX is pretty good. I think some things could use some polish and maybe don't have to be so fragmented, but overall it keeps things neatly organized and avoids the clutter or cannibalization of having too many things under one tab.

The Dashboard comprises of: Members, Courses, Quiz/Assessments, Catalogue, Settings, Authors, Reports.

Courses are extremely easy to set up and they're broken down into Chapters, followed by Modules. Very easy to visualize and understand in the platform and the relation they have to one another. At the end of the course you will find the Assessment module, this is where you will choose from one of the many quizzes you have prepared in the Quiz/Assessments section. It doesn't appear as though you can have multiple quizzes per course though, so none of the little "let's test how you're doing so far!" type assessments that don't necessarily count towards a final grade of any sort, but help the student cement the knowledge they're learning along the way to that final quiz/test/assessment.
Chapters seem to only handle/accept one "type" - meaning that you have to choose between a document, video, or audio. I don't know if this is intentional, or if this is a bug, but I did not see a way to add all of these in one chapter, which could negatively impact the content you're serving.

Quizzes are pretty straightforward. You have to choose between Text or Images, Single Choice or Multiple Choice. There are no additional types or configurations behind this. It's very vanilla and basic in comparison to some other LMS platforms that have a lot more options available to engage the student. You can set a timer per question which is kind of nice, ensures that they actually know the material and can't reference anything in time. One notable feature which I do like is that you can include lead generation either before or after the quiz, which is nice, but to the best of my knowledge someone has to sign up to take the quiz anyway, which leads me to believe that you should just have them as a student to begin with and therefore seems redundant.

Catalogue. This is where you configure the settings for your Landing Page and Checkout. You can configure the videos (to be uploaded), images, or text that you want displayed on the page, include the author, information about them, and some testimonials.

Oops, hit my limit, to be continued in the replies! Keep reading!!
