Q: API Access
Can you clarify API access? I pay for OpenAI's API already (and some others). Is this saying that the only way I can leverage that is to pay for the top tier plan? Or pay for usage credit increase which is redundant for my wallet.

Apr 21, 2025A: Yes! The API access relates to a new integrations system for connecting your app with hundreds of supported partners (coming soon).
AI Model integrations are slightly different however in that users of any plan can link their own API to their account for increased AI credits in app. More info on AI Credits can be found here: https://help.frontly.ai/en/articles/11115137-frontly-2-0-plan-migration-for-previous-paid-users

One more clarification. Looking at the update on the help page vs this response, my question was mainly about if I can use my API Key from OpenAI without being on the Tier 4 plan? I'm hoping Tier 4 API access is for connecting various APIs for other tools and integrations vs the AI API.

New users = 5X your AI tokens with your own API key" yet Tier 1 and Tier 2 currently show a red X for "Add your own AI API Key to 5X AI Credits" should i go by what is on the help.frontly.ai page or what is on the appsumo page? thank you!
Apologies for the confusion! The Appsumo page is correct in identifying that Lifetime tiers 1 and 2 do not get to connect their OpenAI key. The support doc has been updated to reflect this. Thanks for your patience!
Thanks Scott. Q. I'm V1 Tier 1. Is there an upgrade path to get to a Tier where I can use my own OpenAI API? And if i did, would I lose features from my Current Tier 1 V1?
