Q: HEADS UP REVIEWS!!
This is not a question, but a heads up for anyone considering buying this deal.
Frontly has a +4.9 rating with 86 reviews in AppSumo, but in a previous listing: https://appsumo.com/products/frontly/#reviews
This is an amazing app, definitely the best purchase I have made in AppSumo. The team is amazing, the platform is extremely powerful and you can build almost anything. And this was on V1.... Now the team just launched V2, which its even better and has enhanced AI functionality. But even if you remove all the AI from Frontly, the platform itself its a beautiful no code experience.
Dont sleep on this!

They honoured all original supporters maintaining the plan,plus adding increased limits, plus adding A LOT of functionality that wasn't there in the original lead, including but not limited to: Frontly DB access, airtable integration, fancy forms module (idk the name haha), OpenRouter and mailgun integration, new AI blocks, tonnes of other features too

jota.sangPLUSThis is not an agent tool not an Open AI competitor. The AI is just there to break the ice and help you getting started. The important thing is what you can achieve without code. I sold a couple of custom apps to some businesses already and getting SaaS on it.

eva182Guys, is you have the previous LTD, join the Discord server if you haven't. Frontly DB is an alternative DB, not the best choice for production apps.
jota.sangPLUSHi Donacid, not sure, it was a commercial decision. You can see it like you are describing or you can see it the way I saw it: I am getting an extra cool and free for life feature, which was not included in the original tier. Plus by supporting early on, I got a lot more of other functionality. The DB for Frontly DB is great, and I still use Google Sheets and for larger apps I would use supabase.

DonacidPLUSThe updates are expected to be honest. The major reduction in Frontly DB is the challenge here. I guess the best I can convince myself from letting go from this Frontly DB drop from Tier 4 to Tier 1 based on the cost is to think that the founder didn't completely abandon the early adopters completely and say, good luck and bye bye. Cash grabbed and run away.
