This is EVERYTHING - My Life Runs on FuseBase
FuseBase has become THE hub for my business, nonprofit, and personal life. DO NOT MISS THIS DEAL! We purchased more codes than I am willing to admit for each part of my life.
We started fully using FuseBase in October 2025. I did not fully respect the power of the tool until November, just before I got sick. I worked with each of my teams to ensure the fundamental information about each organization was added to the system.
When I was diagnosed with colon cancer in mid-November, I had to suddenly drop out of the middle of both organizations. My teams were able to keep most balls in the air while I dealt with treatments and surgery. Why? Because we spent the time upfront organizing our internal space and building out an internal portal in October...this was critical to both organizations' resilience. My respective teams were able to leverage the AI Assistant and the custom AI Agents I built to move work forward.
I did a deep dive that can be viewed here*: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fd8AaLrI2fI
Dave Swift did a great foundational overview. I tried to focus on newer features and how our nonprofit uses FuseBase and how I have used it personally.
PROS
🖤 It just works (overall UI & UX) - I have struggled with major bugs and problems with some AppSumo purchases, but not this one
🖤 The pages have rich features that feel fully integrated across the platform - you can embed ANYTHING (as long as the website allows for it). I regularly embed Boardmix and Puzzle on pages and within the portals. You can add tags to a page and look at the tags section for pages associated with that tag regardless of which folder they may be in.
🖤 The tasks are easy to use and can be leveraged on any page. You can create task lists or task boards (aka kanban). You can drag tasks between a task list or between task lists and kanban (or vice versa) on a page. There is a tasks section in the internal and portal sections that shows all of the tasks no matter where they are located. You can see the calendar view for a big picture overview of everything. You can also filter tasks by tags, assignees, etc. Internal tasks are separate from portal tasks. There is only one set of task tags for a workspace (which are different from page tags) so you have to choose wisely.
🖤 The portals are so easy to setup and kind of (nerdy) fun. We have setup our internal portals and are working on our client portal templates.
🖤 AI Agents are powerful. I have mostly used them for scraping, analyzing content, and generating content, like reports, grant proposals, etc. However, I am looking forward to more of the agentic features by connecting some of them via MCP.
🖤 The AI Assistant is great to ask questions about the content in your workspace. You can even ask questions specific to a folder or page.
CONS
💔 I wish the native task management had subtasks. However, our work around is to set up our major projects on a single page, create the major task as a header and use the task lists as subtasks. Works just fine if there was never another update to tasks.
💔 Upon reflecting on my notes from a conversation with Pavel, I hope tasks do not go away. I do not want to vibe code project management or have to use the database function. Tasks just work.
💔 The native portal blocks are not very customizable, like the cards block. But it is not a deal breaker.
💔 The database is newer and is slow to load and navigate through records.
None of the cons are deal breakers for me.
I will be returning to the fray the first week of April and I am grateful that I watched Dave Swift's video and purchased FuseBase last year. As always, sending lots of love, hope, and intentional action.
*The video is a lot longer than I anticipated, but I am happy I got over my anxiety and made the time to do it. Given the short amount of time people have to purchase FuseBase on AppSumo, I recorded, hardly edited, and got it up on YouTube. Looking forward to making more videos - hopefully with more time to plan.

Mar 18, 2026Hey Atyia,
Thank you for taking time to write such large review. We release AI coding. You can drastically expand functionality.
Next week hopefully, we will release apps with backend.
Also, we're getting close releasing internal AI tool and we will improve our speed of development significantly.
Finally:
We just launched Public Discord community to help people building awesome stuff.
