Q: I went full stack but I have not tried it yet
1.
I have a lot of stuff on airtable. How can I sync data? 2. When will integromat be available? 3. When will CNAME be available? I assume it wii be 100% white label therefore no mention to your brand anywhere right? 4. When I share data with lite users do they see themselves and personal details on the table? 5. On dashboard can I embed video or external links widget?
1. You cannot sync data with Airtable. You can either import your Airtable Data into Fusioo, or vice versa. 2. Integromat is part of our public roadmap. There is currently no ETA for the Integromat release, but stay tuned! Here is a link to our public roadmap: https://www.fusioo.com/product/public-roadmap 3. CNAME is also part of our public roadmap. It will be available later on this year. Correct, you will be able to use your custom domain. 4. Lite Users can access all records shared with them. What exactly do you mean by personal data? You can hide record fields by using our Role based permissions. 5. You can use a Text Widget and embed a video through the Source Code functionality.
About lite users if I understand correctly they will not have to login since I would be sharing information using links or they can login to see what I am sharing with them? 2.I am also interested in this as agency so in this case I assume a client will be a workspace with his login. In this case can I duplicate apps and dashboards across different workspaces to prevent work duplication? 3. I want to create a record for a service and 3 days before expiration date and on expiration date to send notification by email and SMS to user and lite user
1. Lite Users have to be invited to Fusioo and they have to login. You can share records with them and when they login they will see only the records they have access to. 2. Yes, you can copy Apps and their dashboards to a new workspace. Currently, when you copy an app, the fields, dashboards, and widgets will be copied. Workflows and reports aren't copied at the moment. 3. You can do this with workflows. You can use the 'date reached' trigger so that the workflow gets triggered 3 days before the expiration date and notifies the users. We don't support SMS at the moment but you can send a webhook with the record data to any application that can then be used to SMS the user.
Q: Hi, my use case is allowing website visitors to take a complete set of products (say, 80) and through a ...
process of elimination (by deselecting/selecting pre-defined product features), create a shortlist (of say, 3).
I’ve looked at your saved views, widget filters etc.
I would of necessity need to have this functionality for an unknown number of anonymous site visitors (Lite Users, not team members). I know they can’t create records, but can check/uncheck.
Can such users visually work down the list to the two or three products they’re interested in without having to see every record? And can they save this view for a later visit?
This would amount to a custom filter every time and I can’t see how that’s possible without a field being populated with some UID — which of course such users can’t create.
Lite Users can still create saved views and filter down the list to the products they are interested in. They can also save the view for a later visit.
For using saved views, they don't need to populate any field. They just set up the filters on the fields you give them access to - https://www.fusioo.com/guide/saved-views
They can also search the product list directly too.
On the other hand, widget filters can only be used by admins and can't be changed by regular or lite users.
So this is my use case, which is basically that a CRM or All-in-one business tool needs.
Estimates, Invoice, Proposals (page designed with info of defining scope of work, and not just estimates), Contract signing, Project Management, Client portal, HRM with Clock-in Clock-out option. With hardly any videos on Youtube of Fusioo, it's difficult to know if this tool will serve my purpose.
Though mostly I'll be skipping this tool because whitelabel is only at the highest tier. For my use case, tier 2 will be more than sufficient. And definitely won't be spending 3x the cost just for white-labeling. And I absolutely need white-label for the client portal.
Creating an online marketplace is usually not an ideal use case for Fusioo. It is more meant for use cases such as: a very customizable project management tool, CRM, online database, intranet etc..

Hi @Shopaholic! Thanks for the additional questions and reply. Let me go over them:
1 - Currently you can't bring your own email provider to Fusioo. However, we have plans to add this functionality in the future. It will be part of one of our public roadmap updates.
2 - We don't offer additional storage as add-ons as we offer 10TB to enterprise clients, but this limit is very hard to hit. This is due to all uploaded files having a maximum file size of 25mb. To cross the limit, you would need to upload 40,000 files in Fusioo!
3 - Yes! We already have Dropbox, Microsoft One Drive and Google Drive. All of them are already integrated with Fusioo.
I find 50 fields more than enough. My most complex apps (like content production with notes and checklist field for each phase and various app relationships) have 15-25 fields max (including default ones like created at, created by...). But your workflow might be different.

Q: Hi there
I've started using the products, there are a few problems/limits but there are more due to the ...
whole approach of the system rather than real problems. I feel there are some presentation problems , for instance the badges take way too much screen real estate, see comparison between Fusioo's badges and Teamwork's cards in the following capture at 100% zoom https://share.getcloudapp.com/JruOze4N where you see distinctly that padding between fields is too large + fields are displayed on top of each instead of next to each other+ fonts are too big. There's also a hard limit of 4 content slots per badge (teamwork has no such limit), all this makes the whole kaban approach near useless for my users who need to see much more data on one screen instead of scrolling down the whole page (Teamwork has a scroll bar for each column by the way, which is very useful). The same applies when editing an item, there's way too much room between fields and headings.
One question; you wrote "Record - In Fusioo, each data item is called a record. For example, in a Tasks App, every single task you add is referred to as a record." Is there a link between records and fields? If I have an app about Stores with 10 stores, where each store is described by 10 fields, does that add up to 100 records or 10 records ?
We are constantly working on improving our UX and will take all of your feedback into consideration. In fact we have a public roadmap item on just this: https://www.fusioo.com/product/public-roadmap#ImproveUxUi
We are also working on another view type (Detailed panel view), which is described here: https://www.fusioo.com/product/public-roadmap#NewDashboardWidgets
Regarding your records question: 10 stores where each store has 10 fields, amounts to 10 records. 1 store = 1 record.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you require further information 🙂
The product looks great, and I've created a trial account to see if it will work for me, but can't figure out how I might achieve what I want. My needs (I think!) are a pretty standard business setup...
The setup (Capitalised items are Fusioo "Apps", and the n:n are "App Relationships" that I already have configured and working):
- Company has 0:many Contact - Company has 0:many Invoice - Invoice has 1:many LineItem - LineItem has 1 Product
The question:
I would like to ask Fusioo which contacts have access to product X. (And by ask I mean show in a view, or search/query results) It seems that the "App Relationships" reference links go only 1 relationship deep, but I think I need 2 or 3 deep (ie. Show on LineItem not just the Invoice fields, but the Invoice->Company, or even better the Invoice->Company->Contact(s) fields). I've tried to see if I can create workflows to copy the data around the Apps but can't quite figure it out, and it seems like the wrong approach in this instance anyway since I'll have crazy duplication at multiple levels.
How can I achieve this? (Any feedback appreciated - Thanks!)
Q: Hi,
I have got 4 other apps that are fairly similar in nature (I feel).
Could you please let me know how you are different from these? 1) Quabbly - https://appsumo.com/products/quabbly/ 2) Easyflow - https://appsumo.com/products/easyflowio/ 3) StackBy - https://appsumo.com/products/stackby/ 4) GRIST - https://appsumo.com/products/grist/
Many thanks in advance for your answers. All the best!
Fusioo was engineered from the ground up to provide the right balance between power and simplicity. We do this through how we blend customization, collaboration, automation, enterprise grade security and reporting.
We also offer the perfect blend (through workspaces) for agencies who want to build systems for their clients.
Are you looking for something more specific? Since AppSumo offers a no-hassle 60 day return policy, the best idea is to usually check the tool out and see if it fits your exact needs! 💪
Currently, you cannot embed a Fusioo form on your website to capture data. However, we will soon be launching a Web Forms feature as per our public roadmap (https://www.fusioo.com/product/public-roadmap#WebForms).
What you can do as a workaround right now is either of these: 1. You can use the Fusioo API (https://www.fusioo.com/guide/fusioo-api), if you want to create your own web form, and similarly, push your web form data into Fusioo.
2. Another way to input data is by connecting Fusioo to a third-party web form tool (via Zapier for now but more options are coming soon!). You can learn more about this here: https://www.fusioo.com/guide/integration-web-forms As soon as our Webforms functionality is live, the data capturing part will become much smoother :)
Q: What is the difference between workspace vs workflow vs app?
I want to be building these dashboards for my clients and I want their data to be separate. Does the 500 api calls/hour limit apply to all the calls combined or is it per app/workspace? Is updating a cell of data and updating multiple cells in a single api call both considered as a single api request? Can I share this to my client and make certain parts or the entire app/workspace of it to only readable? I don't want the data to be editable except if I do it or an api call updates it.
> What is the difference between workspace vs workflow vs app?
Apps are used to track and manage information. You could think of it as a table in a database or a sheet in a spreadsheet. For example, you can create a Projects App to track projects and a Sales Leads App to track your leads. A workspace is made up of multiple Apps and is essentially the place where you work. If you have multiple companies or departments that are completely segregated from one another, you can create multiple Workspaces to segregate your Apps/Users/Roles and Permissions etc..
Workflows are if-this-then-that rules that you set and forget. Example: When a new Fusioo record is created, send an Email to the project manager and post in the slack channel (Webhooks). Workflows are created per App.
> I want to be building these dashboards for my clients and I want their data to be separate. Does the 500 api calls/hour limit apply to all the calls combined or is it per app/workspace?
The 500 API calls per moving hour are per Workspace. This is mostly a soft limit, so if you need more, feel free to contact our support by email or website chat.
> Is updating a cell of data and updating multiple cells in a single api call both considered as a single api request?
Yes.
> Can I share this to my client and make certain parts or the entire app/workspace of it to only readable? I don't want the data to be editable except if I do it or an API call updates it.
Yes, you can invite your clients as Lite Users (unlimited). You can learn more about Lite users here: https://www.fusioo.com/guide/regular-vs-lite-users
Thank you for the response! This looks like it will save me a ton of time which otherwise I would've had to manually code :)
Q: I love it and your support team was really helpful so I upgraded to tier 4.
just one more question: do you plan to create a mobile app? Your web version is responsive already which is great but I’d like to get push notifications or update data when I’m somewhere with no internet connection (offline mode)
In our near term internal roadmap, we will be working on having a Progressive Web App (PWA). The PWA will be able to take advantage of native mobile functionality (like Notifications). You will also be able to have a shortcut on your mobile device and essentially use Fusioo as if it was a native mobile app.
Regarding offline mode, there aren't currently any plans of doing this - however, should there be enough demand for developing an "offline mode" version, we might reconsider this in the future!
While you can have something like sending a different email each time a record is moved to a different stage, there isn't really an automatic delay between different workflow tasks. Sending an e-mail sequence isn't something within Fusioo's original design. Apologies for any inconvenience on that end.
Unfortunately, we don't have any set plans of implementing such feature in the future. Still, we appreciate your interest in having this in Fusioo!
Q: 🚀 Frequently Asked Questions - Part 1
⏺ What is a Fusioo App?
Apps can help you track and manage information. You can think of Apps like sheets in a spreadsheet. You can create Apps to track and manage Projects, Tasks, Internal Articles, Sales Leads, Events, Client Feedback, you name it.
⏺ What are Fusioo Workflows?
Workflows are if-this-then-that rules that you create and forget. Example: When a new Fusioo record is created, send an Email to the project manager and post in the slack channel (Webhooks).
⏺ How do I input data in Fusioo? What about using Fusioo to capture data from outside (Web Forms)?
Every App that you create in Fusioo, will have a form that is used to create new or update existing records. You can also create/update data in Fusioo through the Fusioo API.
Another way to input data is by connecting Fusioo to a third party web form tool. You can learn more about this here: https://www.fusioo.com/guide/integration-web-forms
We will also soon be releasing our own Web Forms functionality, which will remove the need entirely to use any third-party software for capturing external data!
It will be available to Sumo-lings on all tiers! https://www.fusioo.com/product/public-roadmap#WebForms
⏺ What kind of Reports can I build with Fusioo?
The Report Builder allows you to create custom reports such as invoices, estimates, proposals, application forms, or various status reports.
⏺ What is a "regular user"?
Regular Users are allowed to update and create new Fusioo records. Every Regular User can be granted administration access which allows the User to manage the Apps, Security and Users in the account.
⏺ What is a Workspace?
In Fusioo, the workspace helps you navigate through your Apps, create new records and collaborate with other Users. Multiple Workspaces can become handy if you are managing and switching between multiple companies or departments that have nothing in common with one another.
⏺ I have a lot of clients that I collaborate with. Do they count as regular users?
If your clients won't be creating new records, you can invite them as Lite users (unlimited). Lite Users can see things (apps, records) that are made available to them. They can still be given access to manually triggered workflows to perform simple tasks, like approving a task, for example.
⏺ What does custom branding mean? Do you offer custom domains (CNAME)?
Custom branding allows you to change your workspace URL (custom subdomains), your company logo and the color scheme of your Fusioo workspace, login screen, and emails. Learn more here: https://www.fusioo.com/guide/branding
Custom Domains are part of our public roadmap and will be available to Sumo-lings purchasing Tier 4. You can read more here: https://www.fusioo.com/product/public-roadmap#CustomDomains
What does custom branding mean? Do you offer custom domains (CNAME)?
Custom Domains are part of our public roadmap and will be available to Sumo-lings purchasing Tier 4. You can read more here: https://www.fusioo.com/product/public-roadmap#CustomDomains
Question; Are CNAMEs included for Summo-lings Tier 4 ? or do we need to buy CNAME for each workspace?
At the moment, you can use custom subdomains like yourcompany.fusioo.com via our branding feature. Using a custom domain is something we intend to add in the future and is already on our roadmap - https://www.fusioo.com/product/public-roadmap#CustomDomains
Additionally, when you use the branding options, you can use your company's logo and color scheme to customize the Fusioo workspace, log in screen and emails.
For more details, you can check - https://www.fusioo.com/guide/branding
Also, to add to my previous answer, Custom Domains will be available for anyone that purchases tier 4. Hope that this helps!
Q: Hi Team Fusioo,
I'm interested in hopping on this deal.
Would like to build a custom dashboard for a small app I'm working on. Fusioo will serve as the front end. I will be using api to update the database in real time. May I know if there is a daily api quota and any such limits? Because I want to update a lot of data points in real time. Also how do the users work? Will say the "10 users" have their separate login emails? Can I convert the data into charts in your app?
Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards,Sumoling
Fusioo is not intended to be used as a headless CMS. The API limit is based on a moving window that tracks the number of requests sent per hour. The limit is 500 API calls per hour.
> Will say the "10 users" have their separate login emails? Yes.
> Can I convert the data into charts in your app? Yes, you can add new Widgets (charts, metrics etc) to your Dashboards to visualize the data.
Does the api limit increase as we get a higher tier? I seriously think 500 api calls/hours is very low. Please mention the api limit clearly on the Appsumo deal page.
To answer your question: yes, the limit is the same regardless of tier purchased (500 API calls per hour.). We apologize if that is not clear enough on the deal terms. Still, we appreciate your feedback regarding the limits not being sufficient and we'll be sure to review it internally.

Q: Hi!
- Company has 0:many Contact
- Company has 0:many Invoice
- Invoice has 1:many LineItem
- LineItem has 1 Product

Q: Hi, I have got 4 other apps that are fairly similar in nature (I feel).
Could you please let me know how you are different from these?
1) Quabbly - https://appsumo.com/products/quabbly/
2) Easyflow - https://appsumo.com/products/easyflowio/
3) StackBy - https://appsumo.com/products/stackby/
4) GRIST - https://appsumo.com/products/grist/
Many thanks in advance for your answers. All the best!

May 14, 2024A: Hi @Sumoling84
Thanks for your question!

Q: Hi I am a recruiting agency that want to connect my candidates and employers through web form video surveys/responses.
Can I build something like this using your platform?
Andre_Fusioo
May 14, 2024A: Hi @justin162! Thanks for the question.
Currently, you cannot embed a Fusioo form on your website to capture data. However, we will soon be launching a Web Forms feature as per our public roadmap (https://www.fusioo.com/product/public-roadmap#WebForms).
What you can do as a workaround right now is either of these:
You can learn more about this here: https://www.fusioo.com/guide/integration-web-forms
As soon as our Webforms functionality is live, the data capturing part will become much smoother :)
Hopefully this information helps!

May 14, 2024A: Hi @shubh7

Andre_Fusioo
May 14, 2024A: Hi @Saskia
Thanks for your question!

FYI, if you do decide to do it, it would not be difficult to allow off-line mode on the PWA.
Q: Hi there, how are you?
Is there a way to have a workflow that runs several tasks with a time delay in between them?
Looking for an e-mail sequence per example.
Leo_PartnerSupport
May 14, 2024A: Hi! Thanks for your question.
While you can have something like sending a different email each time a record is moved to a different stage, there isn't really an automatic delay between different workflow tasks. Sending an e-mail sequence isn't something within Fusioo's original design. Apologies for any inconvenience on that end.
Hopefully this information helps!

Thanks for the reply!
Is there a delay between workflow actions in your roadmap?
Thanks for the reply!
Unfortunately, we don't have any set plans of implementing such feature in the future. Still, we appreciate your interest in having this in Fusioo!
Q: 🚀 Frequently Asked Questions - Part 1 ⏺ What is a Fusioo App?

Question; Are CNAMEs included for Summo-lings Tier 4 ?
or do we need to buy CNAME for each workspace?
Hi @Bosch_Bastiaan! Thanks for the question.
Hopefully this information helps!
Also, to add to my previous answer, Custom Domains will be available for anyone that purchases tier 4. Hope that this helps!
Q: Hi Team Fusioo, I'm interested in hopping on this deal.

May 14, 2024A: Hi @shubh7
Thanks for your question!
Hope this helps.
Share Fusioo
Thanks for answering! :)
Does the api limit increase as we get a higher tier? I seriously think 500 api calls/hours is very low. Please mention the api limit clearly on the Appsumo deal page.
Hi @shubh7! Thanks for your reply.
To answer your question: yes, the limit is the same regardless of tier purchased (500 API calls per hour.). We apologize if that is not clear enough on the deal terms. Still, we appreciate your feedback regarding the limits not being sufficient and we'll be sure to review it internally.
Hopefully this clarifies it!
