Q: Hi, my use case is allowing website visitors to take a complete set of products (say, 80) and through a ...
process of elimination (by deselecting/selecting pre-defined product features), create a shortlist (of say, 3).
I’ve looked at your saved views, widget filters etc.
I would of necessity need to have this functionality for an unknown number of anonymous site visitors (Lite Users, not team members). I know they can’t create records, but can check/uncheck.
Can such users visually work down the list to the two or three products they’re interested in without having to see every record? And can they save this view for a later visit?
This would amount to a custom filter every time and I can’t see how that’s possible without a field being populated with some UID — which of course such users can’t create.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Lite Users can still create saved views and filter down the list to the products they are interested in. They can also save the view for a later visit.
For using saved views, they don't need to populate any field. They just set up the filters on the fields you give them access to - https://www.fusioo.com/guide/saved-views
They can also search the product list directly too.
On the other hand, widget filters can only be used by admins and can't be changed by regular or lite users.
