Garmingo Voice streamlines my workflow by making dictation, transcription, and meeting summaries quick and effortless. I especially like how smoothly it fits into my daily tasks while keeping everything organized and easy to access.

Garmingo Voice is a great product for me. The user experience is pleasantly smooth, and the software is modern and attractively designed.
The support is truly excellent: Since my PC's CPU and GPU share the memory and the GPU is very small, I initially couldn't download the AI models. After contacting support via email, Alexander "conjured up" an update within a short time (on a Sunday!) that fixed the limitation.
This allowed me to perform the first run and import a recording of a meeting. Unfortunately, the transcription took a very long time locally on my PC (about 100 minutes for an 80-minute meeting), but that is probably due to my PC setup. For comparison, I imported the same file again and transcribed it via the Garmingo Cloud, which only took a few minutes. If you want to work locally/offline, you should therefore have a sufficiently good PC ...

Garmingo Voice has solved a long-standing problem for me.

I have to access an hour-long or more recording of a meeting that occurs on a daily basis outside of my time zone, and in the past I’ve listened to it with half-an-ear and scrabbled to make notes of anything that will affect me or my team. The same where I’ve been asked to listen to lengthy podcasts or videos.

I’ve tried many locally installed transcription apps and they’ve all been hugely disappointing. The issue has only been resolved by paying $$$ to a service that allows lengthy audio files to be uploaded and transcribed. Garmingo Voice has allowed me to now do this locally on a barely-used and aging Intel Power Mac, and their ‘ultra’ model transcription is comparable to the paid service that we are currently using.

I had a few initial issues during installation, namely I couldn’t install the driver. I raised this with support, who were incredibly helpful, and issued me with a driver file to be loaded via terminal. Then 48 hours later I was notified that there was a new update where this issue had been fixed, and having checked, the in-app installation of the driver now works fine.

I haven’t tried their cloud service as this is what I’ve been attempting to get away from !

There are a few things I’d love to see in future updates:

* The ability to upload a file in the Meetings panel to group by speaker in the transcription.
* .mp4 uploads along with .pdf and .docx outputs.
* Dropbox connectivity.

If you have similar transcription needs then definitely give Garmingo Voice a try. In my use case, this one is a definite keeper.

This Product is just amazing.

Previously I tested WisprFlow, Superwhisper and so on but none of them really felt great in local model use or had none.
Then I switched to Garmingo a week ago and now they have this amazing deal, I canceled my normal subscription and bam got the deal

And meeting recordings are also great. My team mostly works in Discord and there is just no meeting transcriber for it, but holy shir their approach allows me to record my discord meetings. That is just amazing.

Can totally recommend. I would give 6/5 stars if I could.

Only thing: would really love a quick dictation walkthrough like test thing in the onboarding

I recently purchased the Garmingo app hoping it would work. However, the experience is sad and unfortunate. It doesn't work; it does convert voice to text, but the text is not written in the application. It's unfortunate that outside of Discord there is no other way or method of communication for support.

We are forced to request the corresponding refund.
