A: Hi, when AppSumo approached me to sell Gato GraphQL, I already had the LTD available on my site, with those current prices. I agreed to sell on AppSumo by formatting the deal so that it wouldn't be ridiculously cheaper than on my own site, since yes, I do want to make money from this, and I treat my product with respect. The solution was then to offer a cheaper price but also fewer domains, so that the best value for Sumo-lings may either be buying on AppSumo, or on my own site. (AppSumo agreed that I don't need to remove the LTDs from my site). So you're free to decide which option best satisfies your needs, and if you do buy on my site, yes, I do get the full amount.

Concerning the 90% discount, that's under the assumption that you'll use the product for 10 years. If you check on my site, in addition to the LTD, I also offer the product on a yearly license. (Actually, originally I offered only subscriptions, and I added the LTD later on, because Gato GraphQL can be considered a development tool, and I know that developers don't like paying yearly licenses; that's only when they can pass the cost to their clients)

Then, the comparison here is LTD vs 10x yearly subscription price. In that sense, you could also think of my own site offering a 90% discount on the LTDs (even though I don't market it as such, because I'm a very bad marketer)

That being said, it really depends on how many years you use the product. If 5 years, then the savings will be less than 90%, but you'll still benefit.
