I am quietly impressed with Desmond and his team.

I have been on the look out for a community building SAAS but previous offers just didn't quite tick all the right boxes.

At first, I was a bit wary of going into Genesiv, because there wasn't much out there in terms of reputation and resources on how to use the software.

But having been in the software for 3-4 weeks now, I'm glad I gave it a chance.

The deal on Appsumo is generous, and leaves plenty of room to grow.

I have reached out to support and I am happy to report they are responsive and timely - this is a big must-have with any deals I buy on Appsumo.

There are a few things that I would like to suggest, such as the ability to control who joins the communities (similar to facebook). Support offered some workaround suggestions, but these were quite manual and time-consuming. However, having the ability to prevent spammers from entering the community from the beginning would be a much better solution. I think it would make for a much safer community environment.

I still believe in Desmond and the team and wish them luck with the business!
