Let's say you are using GenPage for a PPC campaign and want to personalize the images on the page based on the visitors physical location. ie. visitor is from Chicago and the landing page shows a picture of Chicago, visitor from New York shows a picture of New York. Then you could use the {city} name variable as text personalization as well. ie. Attn: Chicago Business Owners
I've seen some third party services that locate via ip address (not perfect) and allow you to do this in a wordpress environment.

We don’t yet have native IP-based geolocation personalization that automatically swaps things like city names or images based on the visitor’s location.
That said, it makes a lot of sense for PPC campaigns, especially for local/service businesses, so we’ll add this to our roadmap.
Really appreciate the suggestion - this is exactly the kind of personalization use case we want GenPage to get better at over time.

Fyi - this is the ip database service I've seen used: https://www.maxmind.com/en/home
It's a great use case. A local service client I had photographed their mascot at local landmarks across their main service cities. We used those photos on local landing pages and saw a nice bump in conversion rate.
