I use several similar tools and I am exceptionally excited about GetGenie!
I also admire the honest and transparent way in which you are answering questions here. I have a few of my own:
1.) I notice that this deal is mapped to the Writer plan. While I understand that you have done this for good reasons of your own, it means that I could potentially lose out on features that are only added to the Pro plan. Would you consider adding a Tier for the Pro plan so that those who wish can purchase a tier aligned with that plan instead?
2.) If I buy Tier 2 now, and later decide that I want to upgrade to a higher tier, must I do it before the deal ends or can I do do it any any later stage?
I wish you great success with this tool, I have a feeling that it is going to be an LTD unicorn!

As for the questions:
1) All our features are available across all the plans and appsumo tiers!
2) I'm afraid, the option to upgrade is available until the deal is live on appsumo.

It is unfortunate that several questions were not being answered until after the deal closed. That doesn't really generate much confidence. Regardless, I purchased a second deal as I did not want to lose the chance of upgrading and have requested support to merge the two as they confirmed they could.
