B.A.Q: Automating Invoice Storage by Month in Google Drive + Handling Invoice Links
Hi everyone,
I have two questions about automating my invoice storage with Google Drive:
1. I’d like to automatically sort incoming invoices by month. For example, if new invoices arrive in May, a folder named "May" should be created, and the PDFs should be stored there. Same for June, July, etc.
What’s the best way to set this up?
2. Some emails don’t include a PDF but only a link to the invoice. Is there a way to automatically open that link, download the invoice, and place it in the correct monthly folder?

1. By default it already happens. It will create year folders, and then inside moth folders. Like 2025 > May > Invoices.

perfect, thanks for the quick reply. What is with email with text bills inside the mail and no pdf? How does the software handle this?
And second question, how handle the software with errors or bills that are not beeing uploudet?
Currently invoices in the email body are ignored, there's also a feature for this that we'll work on very soon. Regarding errors, please contact our support via the chat in the dashboard or at miki@get-invoice.com with details, so we can debug why it happened and solve it!
