Q: How can I get Get Invoice to recognize transactions that it didn’t pull?

I’m currently traveling in Southeast Asia and using Grab for transportation — think of it like Asia’s Uber. I’d like to automatically pull invoices from these transactions into Get Invoice, but it’s not picking them up right now.

Is there a way to connect Grab receipts, either through email forwarding or a direct integration? If not, what’s the best workaround to get these recognized automatically and properly logged as business expenses?

A: Hey Kevin! Thanks for the question

It would be great to know in what form these receipts are in your email. Currently it will only recognize invoices and receipts that are in the form of a PDF attachment in the email, if they're in other forms they won't get recognized. We're already working on also recognizing invoices from the email body and attached images.

If they are not in the email, then we should add the Grab integration to our Chrome extension, that automatically pulls receipts from portals like Grab.

Right now they're in the email. I checked your roadmap here

I know it might be a bit early, but do you have a rough estimation of when you're planning on releasing this?

In what format are they? This will be available very soon, <2 months for sure.
