Q: Scanning folders and reports
Hi,
a few questions.
1. is it possible to scan a folder with PDF's and process them?
For years now I process my email manually (of course, because we had no getinvoice ;-)
and I put them in folders per year.
Having all in one place seems easy for searching.
2. is GetInvoice capable of extracting the PDF's from e-mail and than save them in a local folder, or does itonly upload the PDF's?
If uploaded, is there an easy way to download all PDF's to a local server?
3. Out of principle, we don't use any Google or Apple products, is google drive the only option for storage or can we use our private cloud disks or local (server) shares?
4. If we generate a list with all info from the extracted PDF's, is there a link to the PDF, or is the name of it in the fields?
5. Can the address sent to been extracted from the PDF's?
Thanks
Leo

1. Yes, you can upload invoices manually for processing.
2. We save the extracted invoices on our cloud and also on your connected integrations (like GDrive). We don't have the capability of uploading to your local server, but you can then download all invoices easily and upload them wherever you want.
3. All invoices are stored on our servers by default, so you don't actually need any more storage than that. You can download them and save them locally.
4. If you extract all your invoices in a .csv file, there's included the name of the attachment, which in fact we rename by default for all extracted invoices.
5. Yes we extract the address and a lot more info along with it.
Hope this helps solve your questions! If you have more questions, just add a comment here :)
