Further Edit: Very, very responsive developer who takes on board suggestions and works to fix them. Quickbooks now has a function to choose either Bill or Expense, choose payment source, choose expense category and choose VAT rate.

Absolutely updated to 5 Taco's as can't now fault the product and with such a responsive developer things will go from strength to strength. This saves a fortune on expense collection and finding invoices languishing in other inboxes. I would say worth the initial pain for us but no pain for new users so just GET IT!!!

Edit: The team at Get-Invoice have a passion and desire to make things better. They are responsive and care about making things better so an upgrade to 3 Tacos and once they have ironed out the issues I'm sure this will be a 5+ Taco product.

This is a potentially great piece of software that fails spectacularly to be of any use currently (please fix it so I can update my review).

The Quickbooks integration pulls more details and splits the invoice out into separate lines better than anything and is brilliant, the Telegram bot is also pretty special. However, there are 2 x MAJOR issues.

1. It categorises the invoice where it want and there is no ability to link the categories back so you have to manually find the invoice in QB and manually change each line.

2. WORSE is that there is no TAX (VAT in the UK case) assigned or allowed for. It also removes completely the VAT column so each receipt has to be manually edited and it is simply easier to input the receipt manually.

This makes the software a total FAIL and it has so much promise (I was looking at full Tier 4).

If tax integration was included so it read the relevant tax code at the end and compared it to the codes on the receipt or it allowed input of tax within Get invoice first then this is a gamechanger and would be at least 4 and probably 5 Tacos.

Also it does need the ability to categorise the various invoices etc before it posts to QB or at least have the ability to easily find the invoices in QB for easy editing.

They appear to have done the had bit and the accountant was very impressed with the detail but these omissions make manual entering actually faster and less hassle.

Hopefully these features are added and this review can be updates as I would love this to work well.
