I only bought Tier 1 to try GetScope out, but intended to buy Tier 2 if it met with my future needs. Unfortunately the deal has run out as this comment is written and I'll have to decide if I will have to refund or stay and hope for a deal return to upgrade.
The AppSumo 60 days is great if you only buy 1 app at a time, but I bought 5 and haven't had a lot of time to learn and experiment. I will only leave a review if I really use and am comfortable with the product.

I purchased Tier 1, however I am having a challenging time trying to do what I need GetScope to do.
I have a 'Project' and within that project I have multiple sub-projects and under each sub-project I have sets of tasks that need to be done and each of those tasks need to be given to multple team members. I see no option where I can set up the main project as I have descibed, nor do I see a place where files can be uploaded for all team members can view collectively and then upload a new version for review and I am not seeing any palce where team members can add comments on a task level.
Am I missing something or is this scenario not achiveable? Rusty
Getscope's hierarchy works as follows. We have at a highest level a workspace. A workspace can contain 1 or more projects with 1 or more team members. Within a project you cannot create a subproject.
What you can do is work with Epics within a kanban or scrum project. And see each epic as a subproject and create tasks for that subproject.
Using the filter you can then filter specifically on epic in the board and/or backlog. In your teams overview you can use the cogwheel to determine exactly who is allowed to see which epics.
You can post comments on task level and task level if you click on them in the right modal.
There is no general upload functionality for files but you can do this at userstory - task level. All files will then be shown under "files".

One for now until we do our minimum of 90 day pilot on your platform with a few of our clients and then evaluate the platform experience with my fellow leaders. If we like it then we would move forward implementing with all 60. We do client projects, and we need to know Vendor's reliability around these aspects, and also in some cases get our client's buy-in before using our tools for their projects.
I think the best way is what you have done now. Get started with it, see if you like it and if you want to upgrade, we can upgrade you to level 2 under appsumo's terms by then. No problem

What do you exactly mean by "approved reported time"? Invoices in Getscope are not based on reported time but on active user time. So it's more a cost report for own use not for external use. You can use it in that way. But I would not recommend this.

As a freelance project manager myself, I've worked at many agencies, and I actually wasn't quite a fan of time-tracking myself. That means that when you purchase Tier 2 you can have a maximum of 30 free users in Getscope (and of course, they can work simultaneously).
We have a read-only view and we are in the process (After more requests of this) of making this role for free. As the name says, it's read-only.
All users who participate in the project (above the 30 free users you have) have to pay to participate. If you want to add more than 30 users in Getscope you have to upgrade your account and then you are automatically using our pay-per-use plan.
So you pay for the extra users $0,15 per user per day. You can activate or deactivate users at any moment.
