Quite a good platform

Depending on the speed of the internet, there can be lag in the connection. It almost put me off because Teamviewer has been much faster in connection. One test of the platform was someone working from home, the product mentioned just before would crash their system but they were able to work 8 hours with no disconnection, system resets with GetScreen.me but they did say that it was laggy and not super responsive as what the other one is.

I had a computer system right next to me and installed it on that and found that I had issues but came to realise that it's because there's no monitors plugged in (as they're connected to the laptop) and screen resolution was not there at all, so I had to revert to Remote Desktop Connection with Windows as I could force the screen resolution. I could see Windows would reduce screen resolution to the smallest size, thus without getscreen to be able to force screen resolution then a computer must have a monitor attached.

I also found that in a quick support remote session, any windows notifications (admin elevation), I wasn't able to see on the screen. I had to get the customer to press "Yes" but on the third connection, I was able to see them. Also one one instance, I wasn't able to double click on folder icons without disconnecting and reconencting, so there have been small issues like this, which I'm sure would get resolved over time.

All in all, I've found with Windows computers, working on this platform has been ok, although my own customers are used to working with Teamviewer invites but have said that it appears to be much easier to work with.

One of the features that many customers have loved (and caught me by surprise) is the ability to have a telphone conversation during the remote session and it's been fantastic to speak to them during the call and it's come in handy.

All in all, getscreen.me product is really good value for money. I did the full tier because I can see it being an important asset in the business and the timing was excellent because I was wanting something that was easier for non-technical people that customers could just press a button and be connected immediately and boom, there it was.

If you don't have it, get it.
