Very difficult setup for unsophisticated clients

The UX for my first client call was horrible. The client was very confused and I had no idea what to tell her since the app didn't tell me what to expect or what to tell the client. She finally had to make a Facetime call from her phone to show me the screen—which is very ironic!—and I walked her through the complicated process of open the System Preferences and granting access to the app. It is normally the responsibility of an app to walk the user through this process. Also, even after granting access, I could not see all of her screen (other than the desktop background image, strangely) through the app, and the message remained saying that she had to grant screen recording. This is probably because the access changes only take efffect when you restart the app, but it didn't seem to prompt her to restart the app. If this is the process to go through for every new client then that's a big problem.

All of this does NOT mean that you should not try the product. It might be GREAT for remote management, and it might be GREAT once you get past the initial set up for the client. But you should be aware of this MAJOR obstacle that you will face for setting up new clients.

Also, you should be aware that the company bribes people to review it by increasing their limits for each review. They do not specifically say that it must be a positive review, but I think it's very clear that most people are going to give a positive review in such cases, so take all the 5-star reviews with a grain of salt.

I plan to keep trying, and to update my review if I find out more in trying to work around these problems.

Unfortunately some operating systems have some limitations and require additional configuration in order to establish a seamless connection.
