Q: I have been for an Instabug competitor to come to AppSumo for a while and Im really excited for this deal!
I just have some couple of questions:
1- How do you actually stack against Instabug? Which areas are you better than Instabug, which areas you are trying to catch up? We are using it for all our projects and are happy though it does get quite expensive so we are looking for an alternative.
2- The session replay issue seems like an AppSee competitor. How do you stack against them?
3- Are there crash reports for both mobile and web? Is the 60 second replay and the stack trace automatically get sent to us as-well?
4- Is there a Unity SDK for mobile games?
5- Do you have a Pabbly Connect integration?
6- In a previous comment you said webhooks are included in Pro plan. Will they be available for the AppSumo deal?
7- Can we setup "quick replies" to most asked questions so we dont have to type over and over again?
8- Do you have any chatbot feature in your roadmap? Where can we see the roadmap?
9- Can we activate the widget on a custom event in the mobile app?

1 - Besides our SDK for apps, Gleap also works on websites, which is the biggest difference between us and Instabug. We support both platforms. So this also answers question 3: Yes, there are replays. We’re also a European based company, which makes a big difference in terms of GDPR compliance. Furthermore, we believe that battling bugs and customer feedback is a team effort so we don’t charge people for having extra members on their team. We also support surveys and feature requests, which helps teams to take the guessing out of product development. Also in response to question 3: We are very much trying to catch up with their crash reporting and app performance monitoring. That’s something we’re still pretty early stage on.
2 - To be quite honest, this is the first time someone mentioned AppSee to me. I haven’t heard of the tool and also somehow couldn’t access their website. I can explain how the session replay works: We record the session of a user (if you activate the replay in your sessions) and then give you the whole replay with every bug report so that you can literally watch a bug happen and don’t have to spend hours trying to reproduce it.
4 - No, we currently don’t have a Unity SDK.
5 - No, we don’t have a Pabbly connect integration but we do have Zapier and Webhooks as part of our AppSumo deals so you can integrate it.
6 - This was a misunderstanding. API access isn’t included but Webhooks are.
7 - Currently not but this is a feature that a couple of our clients have mentioned before, so definitely something we’re looking to implement in the future.
8 - Yes, we are in fact currently working on a chatbot feature. It should take another 3 - 4 weeks to be implemented. Here’s the link to our roadmap: https://gleap.io/feature-requests/
9 - You can trigger surveys based on custom events or you can open the widget based on code. Our default trigger methods for app are the shaking gesture and the screenshot gesture.
