Great Form Builder
I'm the type of person who likes to simply dive in and start playing with the platform instead of going through the How-To's first. With a little thumbing around, I was quickly able to build a custom form in a matter of minutes. Although, editing the name of each field was slightly confusing at first.
Global Patron's form builder is quite simple to use with their drag and drop feature. All the basic elements are available, but lack some of the more robust elements Jotform offers. This is definitely NOT a showstopper and am certain more will be added down the line.
What I find to be the most appealing is the signature field and form backend customization. I can limit the amount of responses, enable user limits so the same user isn't blasting with multiple submissions, built in captcha, payment submissions (only Stripe, would like to see other payment processors), custom thank you page that will redirect to a different URL if wanted and more!
Another added bonus is the ability to enable save & resume for those long forms along with Google Analytics integration for those report junkies like me.
Global Patron can be used for any type of form building from gathering a single review from customers, scheduling a booking or even accepting payments, they have you covered.
The only con I've been able to find so far is the source code of the live form lacks the field element id Google Forms has-it appears to be hidden. Being able to acquire the code for each element ID in the source code would be an added bonus for those users who want more control on how their forms are used.
As a Jotform and Google Form user, I'm happy to have Global Patron in my form arsenal and look forward to seeing what the team has in their pipeline.
As part of the AppSumo Early Review program Beta, I received this deal for free in exchange for an honest review.

May 9, 2024Thanks so much Shae. Regarding the form elements unique ID, they currently use unique "name" attributes to uniquely identify each element but we could also add the same unique value to an "id" attribute to make the fields easier to reach with code. Thanks for the feedback.
