Cost Estimator is Extremely Inaccurate and Unclear - Expect Overbilling
The Google Maps Scraper (now called Outscraper) returns a lot of data, but the billing model is confusing and the cost estimates are significantly unreliable. In my case, the final charges ended up being nearly double what was shown at confirmation. That’s not a minor discrepancy — it makes it extremely difficult to manage a budget or plan usage effectively.
One major issue is that the system doesn’t clearly distinguish between what’s included in your monthly plan and what will incur additional charges. My dashboard shows $30 in credits, but they only apply to certain Maps services. Add-on tools like the email validator are encouraged during setup, but apparently aren’t covered — and there’s no clear indication of how credits are applied when reviewing an estimate or confirming a task.
I’ve seen other users report similar issues with unexpected charges — and the company doesn’t seem interested in improving transparency. Unless you’re running very limited, highly controlled tasks, be prepared for overages. Proceed with caution.

Jul 23, 2025Hi! We completely understand your concern. Just to clarify, upon purchase, the coverage of the Lifetime Deal (LTD) is clearly stated on the deal page. For example, it includes:
5,000 places for the Google Maps Scraper, and
5,000 domains for the Emails & Contacts Scraper
Any additional tools or services beyond those included in the LTD (e.g. Phone Enricher, Email Verification, etc.) are billed separately according to the pricing.
To help you manage usage, users can always limit their searches to stay within the covered quota. If you need help tracking your usage, we’re happy to assist further.
