Now I only have limited use for the maps and emails, as will only be using it for my brothers local business in getting leads currently so a few hundred records a month. However the access to the other services like shopping reviews and map reviews is fantastic, although the creator has implied they will likely restrict the credits to only maps and emails in the future, which is fair considering that's what the deal is about.

I was considering refunding as I may not get enough use out of these particular services to make it better than pay as you go, but decided I will gamble on getting a few months with access to the other services (or hopefully they keep the current system... :)) then maybe find more extensive use of maps later.

Aside from that, it really is a fantastic tool and if you are looking to scrape google maps and be able to enrich it with emails, social media etc. Honestly you can't go wrong! There is no messing around, no setting up of scraping tasks. Just put the location, setup the categories etc. set your record limit and within a short while you have a well structured CSV file of all the businesses. You can even schedule and automate this using their API to make use of the data in limitless ways.

If like me you don't have much use for maps, do try their other services (Google Search, Images, News, Map Reviews, Shopping Reviews, Amazon Products, Reviews and more) which are top notch. They offer a free tier of between 50-500 records for each service, so worth signing up even without getting the LTD. In addition you get API access, which opens up an extensive range of possibilities.

Use a free desktop scraper, in addition to Outscraper for the services it offers (which are the more difficult to get in bulk using desktop scraper), and pretty much all your scraping needs are covered without needing a monthly subscription to expensive cloud scrapers.

This is the best value and easiest to use cloud scraper around.
