IKEv2/IPsec — fast and secure, and the default on most newer devices
OpenVPN — very reliable and widely supported
L2TP/IPSec and PPTP — available on some older systems

A: Hi Charles,

Thank you for your question.

You can use Goose VPN with a router, but only on specific models and with manual setup. We don’t currently offer automatic, one-click router installation guides for every brand, which is why you may not see general instructions on our site.

We officially support manual VPN configuration on a number of routers, including many ASUS, MikroTik, Linksys,...

Q: Goose Vpn and their support in china Along with Guardey product ?

I purchased this VPN last year, the Tier 3 plan, but it wasn't working at all back then. Has there been any update or upgrade since? Does it work in China now? I really enjoy it, but the downside is that Guardey doesn’t have a VPN for iOS or Android....

A: Hi,

Thank you for your message!

At this time, Goose VPN is not officially supported in China, and we cannot guarantee stable connectivity there due to local restrictions. Unfortunately, this has not changed since last year.

Regarding Guardey, it is a separate security product focused on DNS-based protection rather than VPN tunneling. While Guardey works well on macOS and Windows in China,...

You can find step-by-step instructions online on how to sideload apps on a Firestick. After sideloading, it’s possible to install the Goose VPN app. See:...

Q: About Security Password

I completely understand that VPN access should be limited to a single account on multiple devices. However, it's clear that if I give the password to a remote worker, they can access the gooseVPN control panel and take over the account simply by changing the email address.

There should be one password to access the account owner's control panel and another to activate the VPN service, a password...

A: Hi,

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We completely understand the importance of keeping both account access and VPN usage secure.

You are correct that, at the moment, access to the control panel and the VPN is linked to the same account credentials. We agree that separating these permissions would improve security, especially for organizations working with remote users.

The good news is...
