I've been able to test this product out and I'm truly hopeful that it can get it's act together...
If you've ever used Senja, then you know what this is. The interface, the features, the look, it's a Senja clone. I mean, it's so much like Senja that they even have a spin the wheel feature for people who submit testimonials to win prizes.
But that's not a complaint. Not even close.
It's HOPE!
I truly hope that this product can fix the many issues it faces.
But...
The customer service completely sucks!
So, you're basically forced to have to buy this and hope for the best because they ain't coming to fix any specific issues you might have. At least not in any timely manner. And if you don't believe me you can see that they have a lot of complaints in this regard.
My experience was that I couldn't even create my account (something others expressed also). So, when I submitted a question through AppSumo they told me to chat with their bot on their website.
I did.
It was dumb and completely useless.
Luckily! It was able to forward me to an agent that took almost a week to reply to my question WITH A QUESTION that made it seem like he wasn't even aware I had asked a question.
Then I went back on AppSumo to ask a question again, only this time to be given their email.
Progress, people!
They even let me book an appointment for a virtual call a couple days later so we could get to the bottom of things.
The only problem...
When the appointment time came I was there and nobody else showed up. As a matter of fact, they never even emailed me to say sorry.
So, I left them a one taco review, which was promptly rejected for violating a rule that doesn't allow reviews when you haven't technically used the product. Even if you do everything within your power to do so. (I guess reviewing businesses, rather than products, isn't useful to others).
Well, as things stand now, I have used the product and here's how that went...
I created my account. Messed with the interface. Created a campaign. And even tried out leaving a testimonial. The issue... when clicking the record button (both when leaving a review and leaving instructions for the reviewee) the clock ticks down just like they do in the movies. You know...
3...
2...
1...
And nothing.
The bomb doesn't go off and the clock still reads "1". Except, in this particular case, you get teased that you're going to be able to record a video but nothing happens.
I'M SITTING ON THIS ONE THOUGH.
I really hope and pray that this tool will come into it's own because this would be absolutely amazing. I almost feel like giving it 5 tacos just to get others on board, but I cant bring myself to do that based on all that I've experienced and it's just downright unethical.
Seriously, though. Senja is amazing, but it's like $30/month to get all the features this has. If these guys can get it together, this is an absolute steal.
If they can get it together, I vow to leave 5 tacos. Hell, I'll buy these guys some tacos.
