Grain is, by far, the most delightful analytics tool I have ever used. It auto-identifies goals and will use AI to build dashboards on the fly. I smile every time I get to use it.

This is like the product you wished you know about its existence sooner. Like other sumolings I've been looking for a valid platform analysis solution. Tested TONS, and already unfortunately bought a LOT of them. But dammm.... everyone of them had problems or blind spot. Like moment where you don't know exactly why clients stopped on your site without buying. Here you can track everything, every element. You can visualize how the moved through your website and even ask a.i. a.i. to analyze all your on-page traffic, to understand how to implement better strategies for conversion (like for example ui/ux suggestions or budget spends suggestions). This is like the holy grail if you have a shop/platform and wish to understand better why people convert and more importantly why they don't. Pure gold. Even if it's not in LTD, just go for it. For real, there is nothing like that, nothing that even came close to this complexity and perfect execution. Well worth it.

Before Grain, I'd cycled through Google Analytics, Hotjar, Plausible, and more. They each did parts of the job, but none of them did all of it without friction. Complex setup for custom tracking. Limited web and app support. Arbitrary page view caps that punish you for growing. I kept searching for something more flexible, with a team that actually listens.

Grain checked every box.

The moment it clicked was during onboarding. Grain scans your site and, seemingly with AI working behind the scenes, identifies the elements on your pages and suggests potential trackable events (most of which were spot on or "Ah that's a good one" callouts). I hadn't seen any tool do that this well. It felt like magic.

That feeling only compounded with custom event tracking. You add the script, visit your live site, click the elements you want to track, label them, and you're done. It's the most seamless custom tracking setup I've experienced on any platform, period.

Beyond that, the dashboard is clean and well-designed, the AI assistant (Kai) is genuinely useful, and the fact that Grain works across web and mobile makes it even stronger. Layer in heatmaps, funnel tracking, and the core analytics you'd expect, and it's a remarkably complete package.

The biggest shift for me has been clarity. Because setup is so easy, I find myself testing more and tracking things I normally wouldn't have bothered with due to the effort cost to implement, update, and maintain over time. That alone has changed how I make business and product decisions.

Eray and the team behind Grain are exceptional. I ran into a couple of issues that were resolved within a day or two. I mentioned that I was missing bounce rate tracking, and they shipped it in less than a week. That kind of responsiveness doesn't just improve the product. It makes the entire experience enjoyable, and it builds real trust.

If I could ask for two things: video session replays (to understand why people drop off, not just where) and a native dark mode (my eyes would thank you). Neither is a deal-breaker, but both would be great additions.

Who is this for? Any founder building across platforms who wants clear, actionable data to make confident decisions, without burning hours on setup, configuration, or scaling headaches. Especially if you're juggling multiple projects. Grain gets out of your way and lets you focus on the work that matters.
