I've been a user of OneSignal for around 5 years, but their pricing - once you get a high number of subscribers - is quite bad.

Therefore I've been looking for a replacement this year, and when I saw Gravitec here, it looked too good to be true (at the AppSumo price) - well, so far at least - it isn't, and I'm quite impressed.

First, it's very easy to install (especially if you're using WordPress) and use. OneSignal always felt "powerful", but too complicated and confusing - doing the simplest push there felt like a chore, and their setup was needlessly complicated.

With Gravitec, on the other hand, I was up and running pretty quickly - and the interface is quite intuitive and easy to understand.

That being said, some of the documentation is lacking, which is something I hope they'll improve in the future. Because of that (and because of some technical issues on my end), I did run into a few snags in the first week.

But that's where Gravitec's support comes in - and it's excellent. They were always really quick to answer, were proactive in solving things, and all the issues were eventually resolved. Saas products and WP Plugins often have terrible support, so I was highly impressed - I really hope they can keep this level of support.

As for the push notifications themselves - it's hard to judge after just a couple of weeks, but at least so far, I'm getting higher deliverability and open rates than I did with OneSignal...
