ngvhoang96Q: How to set up custom domain?
I’ve looked through the learning hub, created myself a test account also. I cant find any way how to set up custom domains. The appsumo deals say we have custom domain but I find it’s impossible too. I am not looking to create my own netlify account and claim the site - thought hosting was included.

Jun 25, 2025A: Hey Hey! Good question. So Once you deploy your app on Tier 2 or above, you’ll see a “Claim” button on the top right. Click that, and it’ll let you connect the app to your Netlify account — from there you can add your custom domain.

Also in Learning Hub, I think its not updated, good catch let me get it fixed.
How can I bypass Netlify?
For now, By pushing to Github and deploying directly to vercel or whatever from Github. In future we will add more ways to deploy. What do you use/want?
I mentioned I did NOT want to create my own netlify account and claim the site. Heard horror where a user get billed for $104k on reddit. Nope
Hahaha! Thats only for enterprise account, it wont happen for us! Do you want custom domain, if not then you can just use the url with our netlify but if you want to connect with custom domain the only way is to claim it (available Tier 2+) and connect the custom domain. 😅
