Q: I can no longer work on my main project. My main project just stopped responding.
I’m developing a case management system using Greta. Recently, when I provide prompts, Greta doesn’t generate any new code—it acts as if the task is complete, but nothing actually changes. I waited a day to see if the issue would resolve itself, but it’s still happening. While I can start new projects, I’m unable to make any additions to my existing project. Frequently, when I submit a prompt, it simply disappears without any response or result. I’ve used other platforms like Lovable AI, Bolt, and Base 44 without encountering this kind of issue. Why is Greta not responding or providing any explanation for this behavior?

Jul 3, 2025A: Thanks for bringing this up—sorry you're facing these issues! This usually happens when the project grows too large or complex, hitting Greta’s current limits. We're actively working on optimizations, which should resolve this very soon (in the coming days).
We are early and out top priority is actually to launch Agent mode to support large codebases :)
I am having the same issue. I have tried reporting the bug on their site, submitted additional feedback, and emailed them and have yet to get a response. My project is not complete but Greta has completely cut it off. Very disappointing.
It appears that there's a hard cut off of tokens. I have created three quick apps this morning with no problem. This is what made me nervous, many of these natural language coding apps struggle with larger projects. Loveable has it's problems, but they are really the best I've found for complex apps, Bolt is second, and then base44. I knew I would have to make some concessions, but this is awful.
@bjd1192 Have you also tried Replit and Cursor? I heard they are better than Lovable and Bolt.

Claude Code is by far the best but its in terminal which most people will hate.
Cursor is the best IDE based(Trae is nice as well)
Lovable is my personal favorite online one since it can do the most without needing to know what your doing and the pricing is simple unlike Bolt where your eventually using 1mil tokens per request.
I Have hopes that Greta can compete with Lovable once PLGOS comes out.

Replit is solid but its more of an intermediate software like Windsurf where it helps to know some code and development where Greta, Bolt, and Lovable you really don't need to know much.
Cursor and all IDE based ones + CC require an understanding of code at least on a higher than base level.
I also am interested to see a response to this bug
@bjd1192
I was building building building and then it just stopped functioning properly. I think a small/quick app would have no issue. I still have credits and have spent hundreds trying to tell the system to push the new code to the code/preview pane and it just won't do it. Mine will sometimes respond but the updates aren't being pushed to the code/preview pane and changes cannot be downloaded.
This is not good. I hope Greta jump on this to fix for you and others. Please keep us posted. Thank you
Same here. there's definitely a hard line limit, and I just saw that the developers added a warning at the top of the screen. apparently 50 files is the max that this can handle at the time. But I will say, their initial prompt development has been exceptional and if they can get the longevity squared away, this may be a great app.
I agree that it has great potential. My project shows that I have 22 files at the moment and I am sitting dead in the water :( I am going to stop trying until we get some sort of fix so that I quit burning through credits.

Yeah its a bug that seems to happen after quite a few prompts on the same project.
Just send all the information to support so they can narrow down on the cause.
It seems its a bigger and more widespread issue than they originally thought(me as well).
Save a copy of your project on Github(just in case).
Unfortunately we have to wait for Greta to figure this one out. 🤞
Ya, it appears they added a warning that 50 files is the max before it shuts down by design for the time being. I think their on the right track and with some good customer feedback from appsumo, I'm confident this app will be great, I like how the developers respond to the issues. I went all in, they even got me to buy the PLUS - appsumo couldn't even do that 😂.

It seems to be less than that for some projects and more on others.
I think its a hard context(token) limit they are unaware of.
In the meantime its fun to create new projects so thats what I have been doing while @shubham and his team figure out this monster bug.
This is just the beginning for Questera, they fix this and I am all in.
After 34 minutes meeting with the founder via google meet, I like his purpose. This better than just passion, which can fade. My confident (plus fear of missing out LOL), got me to buy 9 x Max Tier4 of Greta. I am rooting for it to work well for us all. I examined carefully with Replit, V0, WindSurf, etc. They could likely break your pocket book. It get really expensive when you look carefully.
It seems only Cursor had reasonable pricing, but them too have removed the unlimited slow requests. But like Jake said, they do require you to know some codings. It's made for developers, not the faint of heart like us. Still, they seems to be the most reasonable one among them all. I will test drive FireBase Studio but am also like Jake, I despite Google monopoly and the confusing as heck prices

@Shopaholic Well you are living up to your name lol
I'm not sure thats possible to use even by an entire team.
But hey, one time cost to monthly its an easy choice if this goes where I expect it to.
