Q: Supabase active projects
Supabase only allows for 2 active projects in its free tier. Does a project in Greta before it is deployed count towards these active projects or can we have more un-deployed projects in Greta and only 2 of them can be deployed with the free Supabase tier?

Supabase “active projects” refers to actual databases created within your Supabase account. Whether your Greta project is deployed or not, once you connect it to Supabase, it counts toward those two free slots.
So, yes — if you've already used two Supabase databases with Greta, you’ll hit that free tier limit. We will add more options pretty soon but
Workarounds:
- Self‑host Supabase: You can spin up a Supabase instance on your own infrastructure at no cost — or use an alternative like a free-tier Postgres, Airtable, or Google Sheets.
- Reuse or delete old projects: Clean up unused databases and reconnect only the projects you're actively working on.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
