Good tool with great idea but with really worst ever connection to Supabase!
I received the product, and the first impression was great - a good-looking interface and an easy, friendly answers and average speed of building...BUT... When you try to connect to Supabase, it seems like easy stuff - easy connects..., but wait until it needs to make a write or read from it.
> My first problem was that Greta, despite the prompt, did not read my bases, which are already configured for making a booking system that I am building. Greta made new bases and after that used them, but not exactly...- there was no connection between the interface and Supabase even to the bases which are created from Greta. After I wrote to the support, /AI chatbot/, it magically worked on the next day with no info on why it was not working before.
> My second problem was the missing option to insert any data in already generated Supabase from Greta. Again problem that I tested so many times and debugged with Chat GPT...there is no solution. After I wrote again to Greta AI Support Chatbot, there was only a standard answer on what to check, but not a real go-to problem approach or a check for the exact problem.
> At the end: Currently I have a beautiful interface which does not work at all... not working insert policy in Supabase even after deleting all the project and rebuilding it again, making so many fixes and trying to resolve so many times. As you can guess, it reflects with more and more prompts, which is taking your credits, and the deal seems, at the end, not so good and working.
>Conclusion: good tool for sketching the ideas, but not for real staff and deployment. Usually says that the prompt is completed correctly, but never checked before sending the interface to the screen. After rechecking and prompting more specificly - nothing happens. You will lose your credits in fixing staff and not making things! I hope it will be going to be fixed in the future.

That said, I want to clarify a few things:
Greta intentionally creates new tables in Supabase instead of using your existing ones. This is by design—we never want to accidentally delete or overwrite any of your existing data. Data loss would be a much bigger issue than duplication. That said, we’re actively working on a new way to define your own schemas and improve Supabase connection workflows going forward.
We agree Supabase might not be the most seamless experience right now for everyone, especially for no-code users. But we’re improving things rapidly, especially with Agent Mode, which just launched this week and is already making major upgrades across the board.
For things like data insertion into Supabase, Greta can help you generate the logic and UI, but some parts of Supabase (like inserting manually or through custom rules) may still need your setup directly within Supabase itself, at least for now.
