I purchased Greta at Level 2 and have been testing it for MVP development. While the tool shows promise for rapid prototyping, there are several pain points that impact the user experience and value proposition.

Pros

- Fast MVP Creation: Gets you from idea to working prototype quickly
- Professional Design: The generated apps look polished and modern
- Core Functionality: Basic features work as expected out of the box

Cons

- Credit Waste from Build Errors: Frequent build failures and preview rendering issues force you to re-run code, doubling credit costs. A simple 10-credit edit often becomes 20+ credits due to technical issues.
- Limited Direct Editing: Despite the company offering PLGOS (a visual editor for pre-built components), there's no straightforward way to edit colors, text, or code directly within your app without going through AI commands.
- Vague AI Targeting: When making edit requests, it's difficult to reference specific sections since there's no clear way to identify what elements are called. This leads to frustrating back-and-forth exchanges.
- No File Upload Support: Cannot directly upload logos or other assets to your app.
- AI Over-Engineering: When requesting simple changes, the AI often takes excessive liberties, recoding entire pages and removing working color formatting or functionality, creating broken features that require additional credits to fix.

Suggestions for Improvement

- Visual Editor Integration: Add direct editing capabilities for text and colors without requiring AI commands
- Fair Credit Usage: Stop charging credits for build errors and preview failures - users shouldn't pay for technical issues
- Enhanced Selector Tool: Expand the existing selector to show clear text indicators when hovering over elements, or add a "pause and highlight" feature for precise targeting
- Tiered Credit System: Implement variable credit costs based on edit complexity - simple text updates shouldn't cost the same as major functionality changes

Final Thoughts

- Greta has significant potential for rapid MVP development, but the high credit costs and technical issues create frustration. The platform would benefit from more precise editing controls and fairer credit usage policies.
