If you looked at guestboard when it was first announced, land rejected it; as we did, you should revisit the latest features and purchase before the time runs out.

There are so many organising apps out there, and most are a complete ripoff.

In my case, I am heavily invested in Zoom. We run events with multiple Zoom rooms/accounts and even link up zoom rooms to allow two-way video and audio. So I did not need a tool with another webinar platform connected. In truth, the video platforms with most are very poor.

After checking out 18 platforms, including big names like hoppin, in December, we found none to be good quality and value for money. So, I developed my own platform for the organising and managing of the events we need for Toastmasters D91 (UK South)

When we came to April and looked towards our big conference in May, we still wanted to add some "interaction features" like chat, messaging etc. and did not want to have to go buy such packages and integrate them.

I checked back with Guestboard out of chance, and this is why I decided to purchase 2 sets of licences, one for Toastmasters and one for me.

1. The Ability to add Custom Tabs.
This is a big feature because it means you can create conference content on a website, like WordPress, with all the extra information and put it "inside" guest board. This is a great feature for bigger events.
In fact you can now add 3 custom tabs, but we did not have the time for this event to take advantage of this.
2. You can import guest lists and assign up to 3 groups to them. Again, a recent update allows this. So you can use the import features to bring in guest to your event and then control what posts and messages they can see depending on the groups they are part of—another powerful feature for larger events.
3. the chat and message board can limit each message to a group or group. This means you can have your conference team and message them on the same platform!
4. We run small events too, and the guestboard will be simple to use at those events.
5. As physical events return, there are neat and simple tabs to cater for that too.
