Thank you for the question. I understand that you may want to get the answer from another users. But we have some information that might be interesting for you.
Gumlet has am "imgix compatible" API. That means switching from Imgix to Gumlet would only require changing the hostname.
Many of our Enterprise clients like quintype.com (CMS platform for 150 news sites across the world) and YourStory.com (India's TechCrunch, 5 Mn monthly visitors) have made the switch from Imgix to Gumlet.
Gumlet offer more reliability and easier integration.
I hope this helps :)
Thanks Divyesh_Gumlet. I'll get on your support area and look for the api documentation. Nice to know that it is compatible with imgix. Also, does Gumlet work with url image transformations so that cropping, watermarking, sizing, etc can also be done via just changes to the url params?
I'm specifically looking for a client with a photography site with about 20k images. I'm going to contact support to talk about the current implementation and how I might integrate Gumlet.
