As someone who has used ShortPixel for quite some time, including their adaptive images plug-in, I was skeptical about this offer but decided to take a chance on it. I'm so glad that I did!

Performance. I'm using the ShortPixel image optimizer plug-in (removed the adaptive images plug-in) and installed the Gumlet plug-in after an easy setup process through the Gumlet dashboard. There was an immediate difference in my Google Page Speed score - it went from 12 on mobile to 21 on mobile and from 60 on desktop to 68 on desktop. For an image-intensive site like mine, this was a substantial improvement without compromising image quality. In my opinion Gumlet is the perfect compliment to ShortPixel's image optimization plug-in for achieving image optimization and rapid delivery to the viewer. 5/5 Tacos here.

Support and Communication. On the Gumlet website, there is a chat option for support and/or general questions. Prior to making my purchase, I opened a new chat and asked a few questions. I was expecting the standard delayed reply where you enter your email address and get a response a few hours later. WIth Gumlet, however, I received an immediate and thorough response to my pre-sale questions through the chat. No delay in communication. 5/5 Tacos here too.

WordPress Implementation. Several folks have raised questions or concerns about Gumlet's WordPress plug-in. I found it to be relatively easy to setup and configure. Since this deal went live on Appsumo, Gumlet has updated the plug-in twice in about 24 hours - that's impressive in my eyes. It shows rapid response to customer concerns about plug-in and its functionality. True, it's perhaps not perfect yet, but Gumlet seems pretty committed to making it perfect in a timely manner. In the event that you're a more advance web programmer, there is an alternative JS option to implementing Gumlet if the plug-in is not a good fit for you. 4.5/5 Tacos here.

Overall. I really like Gumlet and believe that it's a great compliment to ShortPixel's image optimization plug-in. The bottom line for me is that my Google Page Speed score does not lie - a substantial improvement for my image-intensive WordPress site was seen almost immediately upon implementing Gumlet. Gumlet may be a new contender in the image optimization realm, but from I can tell, they are quickly headed in the right direction and purchasing Gumlet as part of this LTD is a wise investment. 5/5 Tacos overall.
